One of my dear friends once told me, “Vanessa, sometimes you just have to move your feet!” My initial thoughts were...
1) What if it is not what God wants for me?
2) What if I fail?
Lord knows I have had plenty of those in my life and I try to avoid them now at all cost. The pain and embarrassment of failure is too high of a price to pay. So, I would rather play it safe.
But then God reminds me of His Word is Psalm 37:23 - “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his ways."
Wait! God order my steps and delights in my ways? So, I started moving toward those things that I once thought were beyond my reach, and even those things that I thought I wasn't worthy to receive. As I began to slowly move my feet, I saw God’s blessings in my life begin to manifest abundantly.
Yes, He has had to redirect me, correct me, and even allow me to fail. But, in every situation He has been there to pick me up, dust me off, turn things around in my favor, and He has allowed me to be confident in His power, in His love, and in His Blessings.
Through it all, in every situation I have grown and I have learned to trust in God. I would say that I’m Living My Blessed Life.
